If I could
I would
& should
speak the truth
I regret
I can’t yet
but 1 day
I pray
I’ll say
it my way
without fear:
Let’s have justice & beer
Vision
Doom
The opposite of happiness is doom.
That’s when it becomes all dark in the room.
And the future is dark too,
if only there was something I could do.
Yet failure is at hand.
So much for all the nice things planned.
The world is going down.
Exploitation, pollution, war.
Can someone fetch a clown,
or show me a rising star?
Something to cheer me up
and forget about the syrup
making it all sweet and sticky.
All in decay, that’s tricky.
It takes us down to where the animals are
kept in a jar
or behind a bar.
Their life is a shame
and guess who is to blame.
Happiness
Happiness is how we feel about our life,
about the accomplishment of strife.
It ranges on a scale from extremely high to utterly low
the latter is a problem though.
For scaling happiness down
makes us morally frown.
It is bad
to make others sad.
That is true
for animals too.
What makes me happy
is to see
others do
what’s good for you
oh dearest to my heart,
animals receiving their rightful part.

Add:
Freedom
Freedom
of speech for all
bans boredom
above all.
Allahu Akbar
has become
an exemplar
of restricted freedom,
a threat
of violence,
death
and intolerance.
Women, gay or animal
the Muslim radical
is a cannibal
of liberty
and that’s a pity.
Neither on the Christian devout
I must shout
can I be proud,
for though he slices human throats no more
he still
does exploit and kill
turning life on earth for many into hell
as well.
So the religious radical is like a whore
seducing reason and responsibility as does a liquor store.
But freedom of speech for all
can
makes us human
above all.
Adds:
Speciesism
To discriminate based on sex
is sexism;
To discriminate based on race
is racism.
Therefore, to discriminate based on species
is speciesism.
But to discriminate based on religion
should then be religionism,
and to discriminate based on hair-color,
hair-colorism.
None-sense of course,
and awfully-sounding discourse.
Let speciesism hence
be racism
to stand for an illegitimate preference
to benefit the human race
to the detriment of the animal-kingdom.
It’s a disgrace.
See also the article on speciesism in the NYT.
Philosophy is dead
‘God is dead’
Nietzsche said.
Nothing has been less true.
Now philosophy is dead too.
The love of wisdom has gone,
if ever there was one
under the sun.
The internet promised transparency
but now lost its valency.
The truth is mostly not desirable
and truth-tellers are hireable.
Science should know
and philosophy show
the full truth in one blow.
Market forces are in control
and window-dressing is standing tall.
The truth is of secondary importance,
a matter of idle romance.
Money makes the world go round.
Money makes a pleasant sound.
Money has buried philosophy in the ground.
Soal
According to the free dictionary
a soal is the sole of a shoe
or a fish,
or a dirty pond.
But, for me
a soal is not a sole
For me
a soal is a soul
A soal is a s.o.a.l. is a s-o-a-l.
A soal is a Subject-Of-A-Life!
A subject-of-a-life has a soul
Animals are soals,
and so are we.
An animal,
whether human or non-human,
is a soal with a soul.
So, don’t treat a soal as a sole!
Keys
House key
Car key
Keycard
Master key
A key is nothing without its lock
A lock nothing without malignant desire.
Desire to take
and desire to keep
Keys define what’s mine.
Keys give control
Key words
Striking keys
Control keys
Keys grow greed
Holding the key
makes you master
Loosing a key
locks you out
But keys make slaves
Unlock the chains
Open your heart
Dumping keys
will be liberating
It will release trust
What’s mine and dine
will be ours
Fiction
Fact, fiction, fantasy
the truth is important
to know about animal welfare
but fiction is important too
to understand animal welfare
not knowingly
but feelingly
fiction supports imagination
understanding what it is like for them
understanding with your heart
empathy and compassion
hence, animals need science and fiction:
science – fiction
Truth
What do you want to be good at?
Why do you want to feel good about your future?
I want to feel good about my future, because
a. It is not looking good with all that s**t going on. It looks pretty hopeless given the financial crisis, global warming, exploitation, poverty, lying and cheating, scandals, political tension and religious wars. Find your solution here.
b. It see a bright future ahead of me. If so, find your solution here.
Why just feel good?
Since you just want to feel good, I suggest you do something that makes you feel good: Have some candy, a smoke, rob a bank, take a holiday, watch some (comic) tv, smoke some weed, make love, or do whatever it is that makes you forget about your miserable existence, and stimulate the economy by spending money on whatever will get you high, temporarily. So, you go watch an add, do some shopping, or consider the ultimate solution.
If this is not what you were looking for, perhaps your objective was not just having a good feeling per se. So, perhaps go back and try again.
.
Why do good to others?
Why would you want to give to do good to others, e.g. give to charity? Are they worth it? Are you so fortunate by heritage or inheritance, or did you practice cunning theft? If you now wallow in wealth and thus can do some good by dropping a few dimes down the gutter, find your solution here.
If not, be blessed! Now, don’t you think you are a saint. So, go back to ‘normal’ and watch an add or do some valuable shopping.
.
Why do good for yourself?
Why would you want to do good for yourself, e.g. make love? You selfish egoist! Here is your solution.
.
Why do you want to save the world?
Do you really think you can save the world? What makes you think so? Who do you think you are? God? Your solution is this.
Why do you want to acquire a skill?
Why make the right decisions?
Why guide others?
Why would you want to guide others? Who do you think you are? Nelson Mandela? The pope? Peter Singer? Mother Teresa? Jane Goodall? Einstein?
Unless you actually are, of course, this is your solution.
Note
If you are inclined to follow my advice, please note that you are probably not well adapted to this competitive, evil world. In other words, you are probably too good for this world. Therefore, you are definitely worth saving. We need you! So, please find comfort in this thought and then go back to ‘normal’, i.e. watch an add, or do some shopping.
However, if you were not inclined to follow my advice in the first place, you may well be adapted to this world. If so, my advice certainly remains this (but see our disclaimer too).
Postscript: The irony about suicide and its evolutionary complement, the decision not to have any children, is indeed that the wrong kind of people commit to it. Human selection processes are directing us into an unwanted future. Present day free-market democracies lead to excesses like unbounded egoism and seriously compromised animal welfare. The world would be much better off with a lot less people, but we can’t afford to lose the volunteers!
